A Bibliometric and Content Review of Carbon Emission Analysis for Building Construction

To combat climate change and meet energy conservation emission reduction goals, the building sector must adopt low-carbon technologies management methods. systematically explore existing research areas track future trends of carbon in construction stage (CECS), this study conducts a bibliometric content analysis CECS studies. 563 relevant publications published between 2000 2022 are examined analyzed using data from Web Science (WoS) core collection database. The findings reveal that studies have evolved through three stages: preliminary exploratory period, stable development rapid period. In addition, literature co-citation network classify 13 found clusters into four knowledge domains: sources definition, statistics, assessment methods, strategies. Finally, map is presented, outlining significant aspects research, gaps knowledge, directions for study. This work will make it easier academics professionals to pinpoint promising study, fill gaps, broaden scope on CECS.
